Week 2 Meal Plan

Can I just say that I love the meal planning. Sure it takes some time up front to plan out, but boy do the benefits out way the time it takes to prepare! Read my post on 5 major changes I Have Noticed Since Meal Planning to read more about these benefits.

I took this picture as I sent my kids off to the bus! They were excited about their new lunch boxes they got for Christmas from their Tia!

My kids have packed their lunches for school each day and lets just we have not had any emails or calls from school with behavior! I will take that as another win!

I loved not having to stress about what to make for meals! I loved having everything we needed for meals beforehand as well.

Everyone benefited from our meal plan!

I think one thing I will change to my meal plan is instead of doing a daily meal plan, I am going to make one plan with choices I can pick from for each meal. I listened to what family members had to say, and I am also going to try to add a variety to breakfast and lunch.

I do have to note that this week we will be celebrating Brycen’s first birthday. Saturday party meal is not listed below.

Week Two Meal Plan – Monday – Sunday

Breakfast Choices

  • Gluten free cereal: Cheerios, corn chex, rice chex
  • Gluten free oatmeal
  • Eggs, gluten-free toast
  • Fresh fruit
  • Gluten free pancakes

Lunch Choices

  • Gluten free chicken nuggets (found at 99 cent store) and cucumbers
  • Sandwich – egg and cheese sandwich, ham and avocado sandwich, Tuna Sandwich
